  • Help and Support

    Important notice

On 24 July 2023, the Cambridge Learning Management System (CLMS) will be retiring, no further access to the platform will be possible after then. Licence periods as we approach this date may therefore be shorter.

The last date of purchase for all teacher development courses is 14 March 2023.

The last date for activating codes will be 27 March 2023, providing four month’s access until retirement. All the normal CLMS features and support will of course be available to you until 24 July 2023.

If you have questions about how these changes will affect you, please contact your local Cambridge sales representative.

Looking for teacher development online courses beyond July 2023? Go to the Cambridge English shop.

  • How to access your online course?

For teachers who have purchased their own self-study course

    1. Go to the CLMS website and log in or register (if you’re registering for the first time then please choose ‘Student’ when you are asked to select your role).

    2. Click My Learning > Activate a new Product.

    3. Enter your activation code, and then select ‘Activate a Product’ *.

    4. In the ‘Next Steps’ section of the confirmation screen select ‘Self study’.

For teachers who have been given an activation code by their institution:

    1.  Go to the CLMS website and log in or register (if you’re registering for the first time then please choose ‘Student’ when you are asked to select your role).

    2. Click My Learning > Activate a new Product.

    3. Enter your activation code, and then select ‘Activate a Product’.

    4. In the ‘Next Steps’ section of the confirmation screen either enter a Class Code if you have been given one by your institution, or select “Self study” if you intend to study on your own.

Please note that the CLMS is also used for English language courses, and this affects teacher development courses in two ways:

When you are following a teacher development course, you become ‘the student’ or ‘the learner’.  If you have a trainer or co-ordinator supporting you during the course, they will be ‘the teacher’.

Within the CLMS, you can be both a teacher for a language course and ‘a learner’ on a teacher development course. You don’t need to register separately for each role.
